Nobody respects the Coast Guard.

So let’s change that.

The mission of this campaign was to show that the Coast Guard is just as cool as the other branches of the U.S. military.

Fleet Week Virtual Reality Competition

Everybody remembers the Marines bringing a rickety pull-up bar to their high school cafeteria.

This simple tactic has tricked thousands of kids into signing up for the Corps since the 1990s.

So let’s give the Coast Guard their very own, arguably cooler, version: Command The Horizon: The Game on Meta Quest.

High school students navigate their way through action-packed scenarios, including search and rescue, maritime law enforcement, drug interdiction operations, and more – racking up points along their journey.

The top 100 scorers in the nation will be offered the opportunity to attend Fleet Week with the Coast Guard.

Fleet Week is a Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard tradition where military vessels dock in major port cities. It serves as an opportunity to showcase naval capabilities and celebrate service members while functioning as a vital recruiting tool.

Now, students will get to see just how cool the Coast Guard is – in virtual reality and in person.
